Welcome to Murdoch!

You'll get a warm welcome at our info hub on Bush Court. At the ‘Central Information Marquee’ you can explore course options, talk to staff, find out about the application process or explore alternative entry pathways that lead to studying a degree at Murdoch.

You can also speak to volunteers to find out what life at Murdoch Uni is like, or the experts who can provide advice about Uni fees, Government and HECS-Help, financial support and scholarships.

Get inspired at course hotspots

We'll introduce you to our Course Guide volunteers who can personally show you to your schools of interest. At the Course Hotspots you’ll be able to broadcast on live radio, watch a chemistry show or even taste the difference marketing can make, thanks to a wide range of hands on activities and demonstrations around campus.

Head to the Hotspots to get involved, and talk to our lecturers and students if you'd like to find out more.

Explore the campus on a Guided tour

There's a lot going on at Murdoch, and at Open Day we’ll give you an inside look. We'll be running guided tours of our Exercise Science Labs, Engineering Pilot Plant, Vet Hospital, Law Courtroom, TV & Radio Studios, Student Accommodation to name just a few.

The South Street campus covers an area of 227 hectares. It's the biggest university campus in Australia, so you may be glad to hear you don't need to explore it all by foot. You can hop on a free guided tram tour running from stops all over the campus every 15 minutes.

Public transport

It's just 14 minutes by train from Perth to Murdoch Station. Rockingham Station is around 19 minutes from Murdoch Station and it's around 35 minutes from Murdoch to Mandurah Stations. There are plenty of buses from either Fremantle or Murdoch Station to the uni. Bus routes stop right outside the campus too.

If you're planning to attend Open Day using public transport you can plan your journey using the Transperth website.

As an alternative to cars, why not ride your bike to the Murdoch Open Day? You'll find 35 bike racks at the South Street campus.

For cycling routes and information see the Perth bike map for Perth/Fremantle at the Department of Transport.

We're only 15km from the Perth CBD and lots of parking will be available (space is not something we're short of).

If you want to park close to Bush Court, your best options are car park numbers 2 and 3.
